What do you feed an Armadillo (AKA ATX)

Once an Armadillo gets the taste of gold, I believe you have to keep feeding it gold and keep it clean and happy.
Temps in the high 30s, had to go detecting with the low tide.
A new beach, and my ATX sniffed out an initial ring dated 1914 and an class ring with no Grad date but 1893 for the school's date.
The school was at the forefront of education for young women for more than 80 years. In the late 70's it went co-ed for the arts.
Now with the initials in hand, I will see if I can locate the ring's owner.

I don't think the armadillo will come out from its underground cavern because of the colder temps and snow that is on the way...
I sure hope the armadillo is real hungry when I let him out again.
I'm loving this beast! I have to give it a name, I don't want to keep using lytle78's pet's generic name. Happy Days!

My Armadillo survives on gold, jewelry, coins and iron. Of course a set of good strong batteries keeps it sniffing out good targets.
