what detector

I'm detecting a large over grown field tomorrow. there are some paths but mostly weeds and uncut grasses. I have a xt505 with a 9" consentric and a 10" DD coil. and a compadre with the 5.6 coil. There was an old saw mill at this site. which would be better to use.
 
Not bad at all. detector runs fine.
 
i would start with a weed wacker 1st if practical.....lol lol.... or i would use my sov gt with 15 inch wot coil ...gonna need something that with send a strong signal if you get get coil close to the ground......
 
I can get coil close, grass is dead and matted in large areas. I'll use the xt 505 with the DD coil. Thanks.
 
hit the large areas with the DD to cover more ground and not miss anything, and the smaller coil to work theru the trash and find the goodies....
