What Detector should I buy, $ range of 200 ?

I live in Miami Fl. I want a metal detector. I am willing to spend a little more if it is worth it. Let me know.
Can you give me a link to a good one.

Hey, I have searched alot, I recently bought the Bounty Hunter SCOUT for only $74. I sold it right away for $98.
Looked like a toy. Now I am back on ebay. I can't find something good. I was interested in the AquaVision Pro and it goes for under $200 but everyone tells me it sucks. I don't know.
Read the following below.
Can you go on EBAY or on the WEB and get me a LINK to buy a Detector. Please I need one.

1. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND, I need one
2. LINK ME TO A GOOD ONE ??
3. What is a good detector for under $300 or $200 ?

The real cheap, "sounds like a good deal" detectors are just a waste of money. Save up your $$$ and get something good.

However, there is one machine I know people have done well with and that's the Ace 250. It's not a water proof machine and I'm not sure how it does in mineralized sand, but I'm told it's a great little machine for the money. In your price range too at around $250 or so.

The "better" water machines are going to run over $500 to a grand or more

I decided to buy the Discovery 3300 at Radio Shack.
I just called the closest one to my house, like 3 blocks away, and they have one left in stock.
I will go before they close and pick it up. Its $199.97 plus tax.

You guys made my decision very easy.
Plus I read alot of great reviews on it all around.
Thanks, and I will post here often.
thanks again

Be sure to visit Bounty Hunter's message board at their website. They have a lot of knowledgeable people there to help you with your new detector, if you have any questions.
