What depth can i expect from the 4.0 and the 5.75 on a Silver Umax?

digdug1228, i don't have any experience with the 4 in coil, but with the 5.75 i get 5 plus inches out of it in good ground with disc set on foil. deeper coins are a whisper but repeatable signal. to me it seems like coins signals just hit harder and sharper with the 5.75 coil. i'm sure the 4 inch coil would do a great job also, but that is just too small for me.
get the 5.75 coil and try it... you will love it.................roger

I have the 4" coil and the depth is about the same as the width of the coil, but quarters come at about 5-6". The only thing is there's very little coverage in large areas.
