General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Who has the best deal on the package deal, Sunray Probe, and warrenty?? I just want to make sure I buy from a good company! I read a few stories about Kellyco sending units out that have been scratched and one guy had to slap the unit a few times to get it to turn on.:surprised: I could buy it from my local Cabela's with a lifetime warrenty for original purchaser but it does not include anything but headphones and a carrying bag.
 
I recommend Ralph at Sunray detectors, he is a sponser of this site. He uses these machines and can be very helpful if you have questions. Also, he can mount the sunray probe etc, and have your machine ready to go when you get it..Good Luck.
 
My advice would be to by it from a dealer who also uses it. Small dealers will not survive this economy without our patronage. Chances of Cabelas going out of business are slim, and try and call Cabelas to walk you through a problem with your machine:rofl:
 
Hey hunter72. I was the one that had to slap my machine to get it started. I didn't get it from Kellyco but from a local dealer and he gave me a bunch of freebees. It is not his fault there were problems with it. He gave me a waranty for 4 years and I will make minelab replace it if I have to. IMO local dealers are the way to go. They may give you some extras as they have to compete with everyone else. Give them a try.
 
You get a lifetime warranty from cabelas?I had the 2 scratched detectors and kellyco made it right and at the time they had the deal if you bought a detector over 1000.00 you could get another detector cheap so i got a bounty hunter pioneer 505 pro with 2 coils for 70.00 and sold it on ebay for 275.00 I also got the extended warranty 4 years total and a nice heavy duty case and a hd tool pouch and a gator digger i sold for 25.00 and a automax pinpointer for 15.00 and i sold that for 45.00 and some other things that were not worth selling.So altogether I had 1600.00 in it but after selling things I ended up with about 1250.00 in it.if you buy from an out of state dealer you don't have to pay tax either and that could be over 100.00 depending on where you live.So shop around and see who will give you the best price and service.
