What coils will work on a Quantum II?

Hi Everyone,

I'm fairly new to detecting, just starting two years ago, and am definitely loving it! I have two detectors that I guess would be classified as lower end, and titan 2000xd (with a 8in coil) which I bought and a Quantum II (7.8in coil) which was given to me a short time later. I've come to like the Quantum II much better.

However, I'd like to get a better coil for the Quantum II but it being an older detector, I'm not sure what makes and models of coils would work on it? Can anyone give this beginner an idea or list of coils (perhaps for both detectors) I could upgrade to?

Thanks!

Any of the 6.57 kHz Whites coils will work. That's about all of them. There are a lot of after market coils too.

[size=medium]some not labeled "Blue Max" as such. Any of the 6.59 kHz coils that work on the XLT, 5900/6000 Di Pro SL, 6000 Pro XL or XL Pro, Classic III Plus, Classic III SL, Classic ID, Classic IDX or IDX Pro, Eagle Spectrum, Silver Eagle, Eagle II, Eagle II SL, Quantum XT or renamed QXT Pro and maybe one or two I missed. :)

The older-style coils for the 6.59 kHz model made before these are NOT interchangeable.

You can select from the:

i wouldn't call that quantum II a low end machine, they preform quite well, and whites can put the qxt pro chip in them for i think it was 65 dollars to get a few extra features, but they really are not needed.
