What coil

I have the chance to get either a bigfoot,hot shot,or12x10. I use a V3i as I understand it the 22.5 freq. would not work well except on the 12x10. Rite? I would be hunting parks,schools,and homes. My soil is verry mild. I would just like to know your views on the best to get snd why. Thank you your info and opinion is muck needed

You want the 6x10 dd eclipse coil for trashy area
I use it for everything with the V3I it rocks!!

You will notice that four guys in another post on this page all use different coils. They all think they are using the best. Two of their favorites I don't own anymore, Hmm. There is no answer to which coil to use. The biggest variable is [size=large]you[/size], and then the dirt you hunt.

The bigger the coil the deeper it goes. for trashy areas you need a small. makes separation better. 10x12 sef i believe is very good but for not so trashy areas. even though you can change your recovery delay and make it good. depends on how trashy. and you. how many of sounds you can stand to hear at once.

I already own a 6'' I am really looking to cover alot of ground but want good depth and will give one up for the other.
