...replacing the stock coil on my Tejon for the 10 inch eliptical? I believe this is one of the coils used on the LOBO. Thanx.

The only advantage would be ease in detecting in brushy areas and around rocks.

The stock coil is a Concentric... the signal is more of a cone shape...The Eliptical is a DD style coil and has a wider pattern.... kinda like a knife pattern. It doesn't go quite as deep buts its close... but covers ground much better and faster.
The DD coil willl handle bad ground too.
