What are the odds???

It kind of surprised me today when I recovered a 64d Rosie as that made my last three silver recoveries all 64d Rosies. About 15 minutes later I recovered a 64d Washington quarter. My next silver recovery, though, broke the string. It was a 65 Candian dime (80% silver) and that was followed by USN device that is 20% silver. What are the odds of 4 silver recoveries all being of the same year and from the same mint??? It was a first for me, anyway, in 34 years of detectoring. HH jim tn

I don't think its that unusual for someone to lose a grouping of coins of the same date especially if they were lost
around the year of making. Now if you want odds, go to a Casino....:stars:

Been there, done that. I would rather FIND then LOOSE. Two of the dimes came on the same day and a couple of days later in a different area of the park, I found the next dime followed by the quarter. HH jim tn
