What are the coil options for the XLT?

Hi,

I have the standard coil that came with my XLT when I bought it new about two years ago. I see on the White's website that they offer a 6" Bulls Eye coil for the XLT.

Is there a double D (DD) coil availible that will work with the XLT?

Thanks for any and all help. Happy hunting.

Theres a mini DD coil (4X6" i think), a 8", a 3.5", and all sortz of hot heads, and big foots.

Go to www.firstontop.com click on the XL PRO tips and tricks and you can see some of the coils I use.All coils the works on the XL PRO will work on the XLT.My best coil is the 6" coil for coins, the 950 for deep stuff, and the mother of all coils the 25inch to look for china.
I also have a small 3x4DD for hight trash area.:detecting::twodetecting:

Personally would stick with Whites and Jimmy Sierra coils. Whites has the Blue Max 4x6 Shooter DD, Bullseye 5.3, Royal 800, and the Blue Max 15". Sierra has got the 12" Hotshot that always has great reviews and some other cache/large relic coils also.

There are plenty of coil options out there. My first recommendation is to go with the Bigfoot. It uses Differential Loop Technology, not a Double D or H.

Reduces 60 cycle Power Line or other electrical interference by 75%+

Reduces Ground Noise by 85%.

Up to 10XS the Area Coverage per sweep over the std 950.

Pin Points in the Center with a null or off the tip.

Jimmy Sierra also made some Goldfoots which increased sensitivity for the 6.59 kHz detectors including the XLT, but they are no longer being made... always Ebay.
