What Are The Best Batteries for MXT?

Just wanted some thoughts on batteries for the MXT. Has anyone noticed any difference between Regular Copper Top Duracell vs Regular Energizer vs Duracell Ultimate vs Energizer Lithium vs Eveready vs Rayovac vs Energizer Industrial vs Panasonic vs rechargeable, etc. I have used Panasonic, Regular Energizer and Regular Duracell so far and noticed a difference between them. The Duracell and Energizer out performed the Panasonic, which seemed to drain more quickly. I am wondering if anyone has made any observations or had any thoughts on which is the best to use. If I have missed any AA Battery Brands, feel free to add them.

I also found a website that sells batteries at a wholesale http://batteriesandbutter.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=AA , but keep in mind to get the low prices you have to purchase a lot of batteries! This may be something a club or group might consider doing.

Best regards

I've been using the L91 lithium from Energizer. Have had them for about a month, go out everyday for at least two hours, and they still show 13+ volts when I turn the machine on. They are pricey but worth it!!:bouncy:

I usually use the Copperhead from Energizer. They tend to last a little longer than other batteries in that price range. Remember to take extra batteries with ya. It's a sad thing to be in a hot spot with all kinds of finds only to have your batteries kick the bucket. Happy Hunting.
