I'll start. Nautilus 2B with the 15" COIL, GTI2500 with the 11x14 or 12.5 imaging coil. Goldscan with a 18" coilteck coil. Minelab GP4500 with a 18" coilteck coil.
Not sure if I like any of the other minelabs all metal sound. I believe the all metal sound quality is important. Ability to have a coil larger than 12" for coverage and depth. I believe having great ground balance ability is important. I believe understanding any nuance that the all metal sound makes to tell you shape, size, depth and conductivity is important. My preference is all metal non motion. But unless you are pinpointing, most machines require a bit of motion except for the Garrett CX-3. It has TRUE all metal non motion and VCO to boot.
That being said. What do you think are great candidates for a great cache hunting machine.
