What are some deep relic machines?

Bill_S

Well-known member
Tejon, fisher 1200 series, cz's, sovereign, etc. What are some of the deepest relic machines out there? Thanks.

I have found the best for me here in SWMO is the Xterra 70 or 705 with the 10.5 DD coils, either one 7.5kHz or 18.75kHz works great. I've used just about all of the high end machines out there too. Here is a pic of a deep .69 in the side of the hole, Xterra 705 nailed it and the Tejon my friend was using would not.

Any of the PI's are the deepest, but if you are not into Pulse, any of the top of the line detectors does very well. The F75 is popular but I am partial to my V3i. I was relic hunting yesterday and I found 17 bullets all between 8 and 12 inches.......... http://www.findmall.com/read.php?66,1589353

Your results may, and probably will, vary.

I think of a relic machine is one where all targets are dug...Two good one's that come to mind, the White's Sierra Madre with the 12 inch Jimmy Sierra Hot Shot coil. The .69 shot that was detected by >morelic55< can be detected at two feet with the White's using this coil. This machine is a non filter machine and [everything] in between will be detected...A true relic machine...Another one would be a Vari-Filter machine...There are numerous older machine which can be bought for less then $200.00 that can bang them out at excellent depth...

In ground of low minerals the Nautilus DMC 2B. Mid ground minerals T2 and F75 with the boost and cache process. Extreme minerals Minelab GPX, Whites TDI, Garrett Infinium. My exotic pic which I use Vista RG1000 V2.
