What are my coil options?? 4900 DL Pro Plus

I have the stock 8" concentric coil on the 4900.. This is the black style box unit
and runs on 4 C batteries... What are other coil sizes for this detector? I believe
someone said that the coil on this unit was a 6b style like the coil that comes on
the Classic II SL.... I'm interested in getting a smaller that stock coil and maybe
even a larger one for this unit if there is one available...

Thanks, Jeff

The new style coils will plug in but they are not exactly the same I don't think... The Classic II SL
and the 4900 I believe have to take some type of 6b style loop.. It is still 6.59 Khz but
there is a difference I"m thinking... I was just curious how many different style 6b loops
were out there and what were my choices....

Thanks, Jeff

6B coils were made in the 4 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, and 15 inch sizes. I believe all these had the blue decals on them. Another coil you can use is the BM256 coil. It is a 10 inch coil( letter F on the tab) that is just a little bit lighter in weight than the regular 10 inch coil.
Series 2, series 3, Pro units, Classics, Classic I SL and Classic II SL detectors these coils can be used on.
