What am I missing?

I picked up a like new mint Troy X2 Super 7 search coil today.
I have nothing to use it on. Such a highly valuable scarce coil, just had to buy it.

Hey Revier, I saw into the future of that Troy X2 Super 7 Coil ! Way back when I had been using my X2 for a few years I had somehow acquired an extra one and my digging Buddie sold his Super 7 coil for some reason or other. I think he only used the 9" on his X2. He suggested I do the same. I told him he messed up when he sold the Super 7 because it " was going to become an oldie and a goodie and be very hard to come by"!. Those were my exact words! I had used it enough to know that it was a keeper for sure! HH, Charlie

The Troy Shadow X2 Super 7" coil is thinner, lighter and seems to have a bit more of a reach hitting targets off to the sides of coil. Overall my Troy 7" coil seems to be a little "hotter" versus my Tesoro 7" concentric but maybe that could be a case of a hot coil versus one not so hot? Sometimes I think the Tesoro 7" concentric may work the heavier trash a little better but really it all depends on how good and bad targets are positioned at that particular angle of search pattern. That's why they say to swing from different angles while searching cause you may hear a target from one direction but not from the other. I also have the Troy Super 9" coil (another good coil) but don't use it as much cause overall I prefer smaller coils most of the time.
