I have read from just about EVERYONE that you should dig everthing, as to not miss any good stuff. But, what about when it hits on bottom line with no crosshairs showing. Just the small portion of the box shows. Still dig or No?

I've seen a nickel ID where the crosshairs are barely above the bottom, not sure if they're sometimes partly off screen? HH, George (MN)

When you say "hits on the bottom line " where is it hitting left to right ? Don't forget top to bottom is the conductivity only .(two very different targets can have the exact same conductivity)and left to right shows the ferrous content of the object. If it's hitting very low in the middle area it could be gold your passing up!!Or maybe foil or a nickel.
