what about cortes??????

sling

it is the most expensive tesoro and i never really hear about it.
is that better in something than the tejon?

The Cortes is versatile, easy to use metered machine whereas the Tejon is non-meter relic machine with dual disc circuts. If you are comparing depth, the Tejon is deeper, by a good measure. They are both great on coins and the Cortes is actual good on relics too. I use both and they each excel in their own ways.

In a couple short sentences excellent post...Taking a while but Tesoro is coming out with metered machines and deeper machines to keep up with the competition and keeping them light as well...

I just got a Cortes and it's a fun, smart, light, machine....good on coins and seems to be just as good on relics!!!...I sold an XLT to buy this detector and it was well worth it....Steve in Tenn.

and am glad that I did. The Xlt was a good machine btu I was always worrying about the settings....the weight is nice also.
