well another weekend has passed,i gotta say there was so many detectors out just on the local beach this weekend,it was really neat to see the different ways to hunt on the same beach,this beach I'm sure is very very clean lol lol..i headed out Fri eve for a couple of hours and the beach was packed as it was nice and warm,when i got there there was 7 guys and gals out detecting on this small beach area,i though o well lets see what i can find...well first pic is Fri eve...not to bad considering all the dectectorists that was out on beach, now second pic is sat after a full day of hunting with low tide and of course all the guys and gals from up north...the beach was packed and everyone was checking every exposed spot of beach for there share of treasure that might have been drooped..lol..of course i joined in same Malay and walked wet and into surf at low tide..not much to be found yet,these college kids just don't have the items to lose now..pickings were slim as you can see..now i don't mind so many other dectorists on beach,i know with my Excalibur2 there allot to be found even after the beach has been cleaned..and as you can see i did find the bling..
the chain is 925 Italy and its all intact not broken...ill take the silver home..as for the ring nice emerald with three diamonds on each side of stone...but its just junk..but a ring anyhow..lol..
Sunday was a wash with the front that came thru...ill try again this week..

Good weekend John,
I was (Hide My face) DIrt sifting this morning as weather has and conditions are terrible here. I read your post and thought about one Md'er on the beach this Morning swinging away. He was in the rain and probably just as cold as I was just a swinging away. One major problem at the bottom of his swing he was 6-8" off the ground and on either side he was 2-3' off the ground and walking a normal pace while swinging like this. I was perplexed as to leave him alone or go see if I could help him understand what we was doing. He was digging and in the location he was would be for a while as the bottle caps are awful even in decrimination mode also.
I just left him alone as he seemed to be enjoying digging those cap tops up.
I had already cleaned the coins and others in grids in same area and drawn them in the dirt for other to see.
Should I have approached himor left him alone?

from what ive been told by others there just looking for recent drops to find,not looking for deep targets..i guess in interest you could have just asked...

That makes Sense, But man was he in heavy trash area. Even In descim Mode I have to go very slow thru that section. I guess worse thing could happen is he cleans it all up>

nah there will always be something left for the excalibur to sniff out..im still trying to get down your way in the next few weeks,just trying to adjust my sat and fri schedule so i can take off,i got your pm with your cell,ill call ahead when i know for sure what day...im looking farward to hunting down south..

Come on down. I will be gone this weekend to see my granddaughter I have not seen in two months and will retunr ready to swing for sure. I am pretty available most any day. I occasionally have to (NASTY WORD)WORK if they are short in the office. But that is very rare. I just recently hired another for the office just for assisting so I did not have to. Point is day fo the week does not matter for me. Looking forward to meeting you.
