I was out at lunch on various errands today, one of them to get a permit to detect in a certain area. While there the clerk just happened to mention that she was very close friends with 'the wife of a man who CREATED the whole metal detecting thing right in his garage'... I said 'you must mean Charles Garrett!', to which she agreed and then went on to talk about how nice he and his wife are and so on. I pointed out my green Garrett cap and told her that although I've never met the Garrett's, that nice attitude has certainly rubbed off on the folks that work for their company!
Small world.
On another note, pending no issues with the big brown truck on either my end or my trade end....I'll have a REASON to wear that green hat sometime starting mid next week!!!
