What a relief.

I sold my CZ-70 to get a F-75. Used it for 6 months with some success. Never felt the love for it as some do so I sold it and purchased a used CZ-70. Took it out for the first time over the weekend. Just a nice relaxing 3 hr. hunt. No screwing around with settings all the time, just set the GB and sensitivity and go. No great finds this time but they will come.

p.s.: If you live in the mid west you better wear orange if you go out in the rural area. Rifle season for deer starts Saturday in Nebraska.

Turn her on, GB, and you're hunting within two minutes, whether in hot gravels, volcanic black sand, or on a saltwater beach. No fuss, no muss, and no need to carry the instruction manual. Wait a minute, looks like rain, who cares! No "environmental cover" needed. Matter of fact a little rain's good for getting all that sand and dirt off of the faceplate.

If you don't have the little hockey puck coil for her, you're missing a treat!

Coil for coil and I have used a bunch over the years..Have to admit easily iron masked but any detector has its good and bad points and some cons can be overcome with time in the field...

with cz-70,one CAN dicern the difference between a deep coin, and deep iron, however as dan pointed out,it takes time in the field with the unit ,and even if you get a deep hit which sounds good, you are going to dig it anyway!..if you get burned on deep iron, with the cz-70,the NEXT deep good hit could easily be a coin anyway!
still!..one hell of a deep coin detector!

I would pay $934.00 for a CZ-70 with VDI numbers. As for iron, I hunt with no discrimination and listen for the iron bounce. Also, sizing the target with pinpoint or auto tune helps in determining if I should dig or not. One thing for sure is you better have a good digging tool to get those deepies.

KuRtB I second the wearing orange for the hunters. I was out 3 days ago and while I was on my knees digging a coin I saw 2 guys looking at me with their riflescopes.I retrieved the coin and left.We have 7 weeks of big game hnuting season here.
