I love metal detecting!!!!!!!!!!! Here are two of four silver coins found today while hunting w/ my buddy Felix...Life is good.

We want details.
In what kind of area
What was you using
How were the coins laying in the ground
etc

I finally hit some silver for 2008 and what a find. 2 walking liberty half dollars!!
The dates are 1941 and 1946.
I also found 11 wheat pennies dating 1925 up to 1957, 2 clad dimes, 1 clad quarter, and 12 memorial pennies.
I was hunting with Joey when he found the Morgan dollar and we tried to locate another one. Maybe next time.
I enjoy checking out everyone else's finds and hope you enjoy looking at these finds.
Thanks again Joey,
Felix

Beautiful coins and beautiful pictures. Love the toning on the halves.

The area was next to an old tennis court next to an old estate...they were only about 3 inches in the ground..The Morgan dollar was on it's side which made it hard for my
Discovery 1100 to pick up, but w/ the help of Felix's rig (he'll have to give the details) we were able to find it. Also about three inches from there is where one of the Walking Liberty 1/2 dollars was found.I still haven't gotten over my excitement.....HH
