Went to a City Park that has history back to the 1700s...
This was an old mill

This is the falls that powered it

And here are my finds for the day

I am begining to hate this City...Damb drunks and their can slaw and pull tabs and screw caps...

Have you been back into those woods? Looks like a wooded area behind the mill. How deep is the pond at the base of the falls? Maybe folks use to use it for a wishing well. Does the mill have a dirt floor? Looks like a great old site. You'll get em!!

Did not get back into the woods too far...There are plenty of trails...The skeeters were tearing me apart...Will go back here...City does not allow wading in the crick unfortunately...cannot get into the mill they use it to store tools and equipment for the park now. locked up tight, and they have plywood painted black over all the windows.

I like to use Sweat Resistant OFF, in the warmer weather, otherwise I leave the woods for early spring and late fall. I get alot of silver out of the woods I hunt. Good luck with this project.
