What a difference!

Just got a new 6" HF DD coil for my X-T 70 on Barnacle Bill and others personal recommendation and what a difference it has made. My uncle (he has a Garrett) and me have searched around the old farm house I live in for the past two summers until there were literally no more coins to be found over the past few months. Today after putting on the new 6" coil and despite there being ton of junk in the ground around the house, within a moment I had a penny/dime reading which after digging a 4" plug and at first finding a large piece of iron 5" down, I found a "29" wheat penny in the dirt I had dug to reach the piece of iron. 7 feet further on I got another coin reading more jumpy than the first and after digging another 4" plug, out pops a well corroded "42" wheat penny. Right out of the box, two coin readings, two holes and two wheats, it's hard to beat that! Guess you could say I'm totally sold on Minelab's 6" HF DD coil, though down the road a 10.5" DD coil is still in the works...

Congratulations on the new coil. I have both the 6 and elliptical HF DD coils they are great to use. The only difficulty I have with them is choosing which one to put on.
