What a difference a good pair of headphones makes

I broke down and bought a pair of Sun Ray golds from Relic Hunter Supply and man does he ever have great customer service! Shipped for $5 across the country in TWO days! The sound is tremendous compared to my other pair, I mean it's not even close. It's like hearing something for the first time and the limiter is to die for in the iron infested areas I hunt. If you are out there using average headphones you're likely missing a bunch not to mention getting headaches from the threshold hum on the MXT.

DIDO on that.
I went from a standard issue pair of whites headphones and replaced them with a pair of Jimmy Serria Maxi ll.
I took them to a park I Thought I had worked out and found a 12 K gold lady's diamond ring, and 2) 14 K gold pendants
( all three separate holes) with my MXT. Paid for the headphones first day out. The pendants were at 7" deep each.
There is no substitute for quality. Quality will always cost you less in the long run.

That's why I wouldn't have anything else. SunRay Pro Gold are the best and Ralph at SunRay is a very caring person and wants only the best for us. Money well spent. Can't wait to hear about your finds. HH, Nancy

You all realize I'm sure, that some detectorists see no need for headphones at all. To my mind, even so so headphones go a long way towards bonding me as one with my detector, let alone good quality ones.
