What a Difference 24 Hours Makes. Yesterday Zip, Bottle Caps and Today the Lane & Mine Opened a Little

Got $1.61 in clad, a dog-tag with Derek on it, a mood ring, a pair of broken sunglasses, a toy ambulance, a 925 silver earring full of CZs, a hair clip and a small brass tag. At the top of the tag it says AUST, below it a serial number and then O POS. It looks like an Australian military dog tag. I'm going to polish it up and repost it.

A small trough opened up near 24th St and I found all of this stuff within a 20' by 20' trough or pit that had been cut out in the water about knee deep. The lane gave me more bottle caps that I tossed.

Things are starting to move some!

This was deep, deep in a large trough and came out pretty black. I have a hunch it's an Australian military dog tag.

They sent him up to VB to test their new Excal. They claim the knobs work properly, comes with a staight shaft, 20 hr. battery, and lightweight coil. He claims they're gonna pay shipping both ways, for any warranty work required.
Baaaaahaaaaaaaaa, I'm sorry, just couldn't help myself.

Ron,It looks like a military dog tag.I would guess it means:

Aust=======Australian
R122654====Military serial number
JW Flage===Military individual
RC=========Religion (roman catholic
O POS======Blood type

Just my guess

I'm gonna hit the AM tide tonight. I just put my CZ20 back into commission. I just wanna hear some bells and jingles, guess I'm getting the "PI Blues".
I had some great water hunts yesterday and Mon., only got a skinny gold band, but the water was great. I had stripers swimming by me all afternoon on Mon., way too cool.

I'm not suprised to find that the dog tag was discoloured when you found it. When they are first issued they are actually black. Its only after you wear them for quiet a while that the black wears off. The one you have has the same patina as my dogtags had when I was in the Australian Army until recently (well before you polished it that is);). Just from his Regimental Number I can tell you that he enlisted in Queensland as the first number indicates the state.
