Unbelievable that on Monday the temps were in the low 70's and I was hunting with pops and my girlfriend Sheryl.![Clapping :clapping: :clapping:](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/clapping.gif)
Then I get up this morning...just 2 days later... it is 34 degrees and my windshield is coverd with ice.![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Dad said he would hunt one more time while the weather was nice on Monday so thats exactly what we did.
Both he and Sheryl were working EX2's...thanks to the one loaner unit from my good friend Heavy D.
I just have one EX2.
Sheryl was determined to dig something. She doesn't care whether it is old or not...but any coin puts a smile on her face.

She pays pretty close attention to the screen and hopes to hear "the high flute music" as she calls it.![Bouncy :bouncy: :bouncy:](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/bouncy.gif)

She ended up digging 2 memorials and even got a wheatie.

Dad had a good time too...and he even smiled once.![Big Grin  ](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/biggrin.gif)
The first thing he dug was a little chunk of molten metal at about 7" and he mentioned something about wrapping the EX2 around the tree about 20 feet away.![Detecting :detecting: :detecting:](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/mds.gif)
I told him to go ahead and do it
...because it was Darrell's EX2...and not mine.
Sheryl was using mine.

As the sun began to set though...he finally popped out a shiny little sweetie and I do believe I saw him smile when I snapped the pic of him.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

It don't get much better than this fellers'...70 degrees in late November...my lady came along on a hunt...and Pops found some shiny stuff before the nasty weather hit us today....the day before Thanksgiving.![Thumb Up  ](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/thumbup.gif)
I found a few things too but this post is about my pops and lady sharing the hunt with me.![Thumb Up  ](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/thumbup.gif)
This hobby is not...and never will be about what ends up in my pouch. It is about the joy and peace it brings me...and the smiles it puts on the faces of the people I hunt with.![Angel  ](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/angel.gif)
Just take another look at the smile on Sheryl's face...and Dad's face. Those smiles are worth more than anything that could ever end up in my pouch.![Please :please: :please:](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/please.gif)
The only thing I'd like to show is the Medal I found. I'm not sure what it is...but it looks like it might have been some type of award...and could have possibly had a ribbon attached to it to be worn around the neck??

Anyway thank you all for viewing.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving...and enjoy the precious time you have with your family.![Angel  ](https://www.findmall.com/styles/smileys/angel.gif)
