I found this advertising coin/token on a hunt in between the blizzards and frozen ground here in OK. It is brass, the same diameter as a quarter. I have dated it, by vintage LIFE magazine ads, sometime in the 1920's or early 1930's. I am not sure how these coins were used, but if anyone knows I'd like to hear about it. Richland Shoe Co. was, I believe, in Nashville. Still may be, don't know. I guess this was made when a dollar was worth something.
