It seemed like every where I went event were taking place. I usually hunt schools on weekends;so thats where I went. Thr first school had baseball games goingon. The next school it soccer time. The third school was locked up even though the sign said open till dark.The fourth school had the grass up to my knees and little kids running around the play equiptment.Not to be discouraged; I proceeded to my fifth school;The playground was empty; and it wasnt locked!!! Oh I could finally hunt;or so I thought.I noticed I forgot my digs pouch and lische digger. Never fear I had a back up. I had a folding knife and nail apron behind the seats of my truck.
I got those out and proceeded to hunt. I got my first signal and decided to dig it. It was a quarter.While digging it up;I lost lost the screw that held my blade to the handle of the knife.
Well; it was time to head home.I worked pretty hard on my honey do list this morning for some time to hunt; so I wasnt going to quit that easy. I went home and got my digger and pouch and went to my sixth and final school of the day.
My first hour I had found a whole quarter;and penny. I was seeing what the writing was on the wall.So I decided to try the playground;instead of the area around the playground equiptment.After about 15 or 20 minutes; I hit a another quarter; then another and then another.
When it I found a little silver heart; then some more quarters. When it was all said and done I finished with 29 quarters for the day!!! The moral to this story;with a little heart ;all things(quarters)
are possible..LoL

Obviously this is a case of man over machine, over bad luck and having the ambition to stay at it!
