What a Day with my Silver............:cam:

Nice finds Tabdog. Them Silver uMax's will wear you out for sure - not by their weight but by all the finds they make. A very good detector indeed. Steve.

Oh by the way I think that's my ring, lol.

Oh that Arky Barky is gonna be jealous and nip at yah!

Nice finds...

TD:

Looks like you had a great day and made a friend (Detecting Partner) to boot.

Did the Arky Barky stay home today ??? Oh yea almost forgot are you near where "OLD SOX" lives.

tab thats why i got the silver umax its a great machine , ya we dig lots of trash but you have to dig trash to find gold and whith the silver you are forced to do that and thus increas the chance of finding a ring 8" on a nickle wow the ground must be mint but i know red clay has ablout 5--& 7% iron in it great find cant wait till the ground thaws hear in minnesota

The Arky Barky finished of the tot lot. I wasn't going to stick it in that red clay. But I'm keeping that bubba in my car.

Old Sox lives about 170 miles from here. Up there around them big red hogs(Razorbacks).

They even have a metal detector shop up there.

HH,

I must have real good soil in this area.

I checked that hole real close. I know it's hard to believe, but when i put the nickel back in the hole, I got a good signal. When I took the nickle out the signal went away.

It is possible that some other object gave me the initial response. And then I exposed the nickle. But we will never know for sure.

There is some red clay in parts of this state that is awful to MD in. It's high concentration of iron. It's very hard and brittle in the summer time. But believe it or not most of the red clay in my area is very mild. It's not brittle when it's dried out. There is some problems with mineralization but I haven't found areas of high concentration except in gravel.

I'm just lucky I guess.

I keep being amazed with the little Silver.

You can nit pick it if you want, but just give it a little encouragement and it will do tricks for you.

Happy Hunting,

did I get your attention with that! What a super find! Do you think the Silver is paid for now? I have to say it is and then some. Congrats on as an awesome recovery!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really glad for you!
Pap

Ok He just mentioned he was in Arky Barky land and I wondered if you were close..He seems like a pretty good guy.
Said he was looking for someone to detect with.

The fella that approached you must not have seen that Arky Barky Twisted Weasel tool since he didn't run away.
But if he was after your loot - there's probably no gettin past Arky Barky Twisted Weasel Weiner Roaster
Looks like you did real well Tab - 80 degrees? wow!
WTG ! - Hi Ho Silver

Way to go T'dog nice find! I was able to get out for the first time this year. It finally warmed up a little the ground was sill froze in most parks so had to hunt the tot lots.
