What a day to be out in the woods.........

Weather was great and so were the finds. I manage to get a couple small flat buttons, a nice horse stirrup, a 1804 HALF CENT, 1920 wheatie, some clad, a nice sash buckle, Zippo lighter, a spoon, a large flat button with a anchor design on it, BUT my friend I invited down got the best. First he digs a 1853 Dime then he digs a 1969 High school ring in the middle of the woods ( Go figure??). I told him he was banned from hunting my spot from now on. LOL just joking we had a great time.

Joe, I am so jealous. You two did fantastic and what an array of items. This is a day you will remember for a long time. BIG congratulations! Is that your oldest coin you've found? Personally, I like the old 1804 half cent better than the seated dime, but don't tell your friend that. ;) Thanks for brightening up my day and for posting the pictures. HH, Nancy

No, I have found coin from the 1700's (British Coppers, Reale's) I found out the button is from the Royal Navy war of 1812

Awesome day to be out and great finds. Way to go. I'm really liking that 1804 1/2 cent.:thumbup::thumbup: Just can't ask for a better hunt than that. CCH

My goodness, that's so exciting. Again..........BIG congratulations to you Joe. HH, Nancy
