What a suprizing day. was headed to a place that I wanted to detect when I looked over and saw they ripped out a side walk and cut down about 8 inches. So I whipped the truck around and began detecting a 50 yard stretch about 6 ft wide first signal a 1990 penny I thought not to promising second signal 4 inches down in hard dirt chisled through it and BANG A 1907 V nickle my first ever I about fell over nothing else there so I went one street over to a old home site, hit this place before but they recently tore it up again got a 3 inch square nail and alot of junk then hit the old brass lock front,a spoon not silver , then hit a high 80 -90 signal turned out to be a pocket watch back Stamped 658 JA with a loin hallmark acid tested it and it is silver 7.5 Grams , then found a chinese coin I havent I.D.'d yet needless to say I didnt make it to the spot I wanted to go LOL HH to all Stryker

Looks like you had a fantastic day WTG and Awesome finds

The piece of the pocket watch I found has a date hallmark so far I narrowed it down so far From 1885-1919 it is sterling silver due to the lion hallmark with leg up facing left
