Rained all day and busted my swingin plans for the day! :(

But it replenished the moisture in the ground, and it is supposed to be in the upper 70's and nice the rest of the week! I smell some old coins in the near future! :)

Thats why you find the old ones and I dont...I've been smelling the wrong thing!

pretty warm when I get there-usually,the park we are going to have campers jammed in there like a bunch of sardines in a can all summer; After Labor Day for the most part, the campground(and its beaches)are pretty vacant-mostly just a few retirees...IMAGINE::all those beaches vacant-all the goodies layin where they were dropped-waiting for me and my trusty old Fisher 1280x water machine to report their prescence, and whisk them all away to a new home....This campground is our favorite-It is the 1st one we visited when we were first together...my wife has never been up north camping after Labor Day;we are lookin forward to it-going to Mackinaw,Harbor Springs and drive thru the Tunnel of Trees-basically,we are going to spend the week together;and forget about our jobs and everyday worries-AMEN!!!!If it gets a little cool at night-SO WHAT???Our camper has a nifty furnace in it;and we have lots of blankets-And,we will have the dog-it is AMAZING how much heat he produces...

ya bring home a bunch of goodies! :)

Happenned last week and it's highly unusual for this area. It was only an "F-0", the weakest of all tornados. But it still took up trees and did quite a bit of damage. I believe they said they had 4" of rain in an hour and there were stories of people in SUV's that got caught in some flash flooding. I heard one interview and the guy said the water came up so fast it was up to his doors (on an SUV) and it was hard for him to get the door open to get out...
