What a blessing we had today!........

Sunday that is! It all started when we had our regular church service in one of our members big barn at their home. Immediately following we had our church summer picnic! About 200 people, a pig roast, pot luck, swimming, water balloons, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, fellowship, slushy machine, moon walk, croquet, tons of fun, etc..... Wish you all could have been there!Thanks God!

Sounds like loads of fun Mike. Would like to have a festivity like that one of these days to attend - would be great. Who says God's people are a bunch of stuffed shirts and can't have any fun?

it is a late 1800's farm. I asked before but they bought their son a detector, and he never got into it. I will sooner or later!

Maybe sometimes a change in scenery is in order. After all, God owns it all anyway. Church is when two or more are gathered in his name, so it doesen't matter where you are. Church is a body of believers, not a pretty building. Don't get me wrong, pretty is good, it shows that you care enough to put on your best. But even when you have on your work clothes, God still loves you.
