1st and foremost, a praise to our LORD for a safe and beautifull day.
WE gathered at our church @ 0800 yesterday morn for a scoot to the north east o' the Buckeye for some goood ole fashion christian gatherin and prayer.Man, this stuff gives me GOD bumps.

It was a bit chilly,(downright COLD at 65mph )so we bundled up and headed northwest.

A feller originaly from our area,Murrysville Pa,attended a Blessing of the Bikes a few years back at our church before he and his wife moved off to Aurora Ohio. YEP !! he found and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and after becomeing established in his community Alliance church approached his Pastor about starting thier own annual Blessing of the Bikes. Dang !! what a super opportunity to jump on our bikes and head out with the idea of evangelizin in our hearts to new and lost bikers.
Here is the church we rode out to.Hope Community Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Hudson Ohio.

14 of us were able to mount up and ride there and i mean to tell ya, there were folks of ALL walks at their church there and they opened up both thier doors and there hearts and arms to each and everyone of us.The praise that was in the air yesterday morn was absolutley phenominal. But ya know, that's exactly the way all people are from any C&MA church anywhere. That is the focus of our ministry, open up and reach out to EVERYONE.(who did Jesus choose?)
The message of the day was very clear and to the point...Jesus loves ALL and this biker ministry,(which btw is growing and growing and reaching hearts and souls in places that otherwise would be left untapped to those in need) is just one of the ways for us to reach others that otherwise feel "unwelcomed" in Christs love. And it's WORKING.!!!! PRAISE THE LORD !!!!!!
Now i know most think that bikers travel on gas tires and oil...WRONG !!!!!!..STOMACHS !!!! STOMACHS i tells ya, that's what we travel on lol

There were only about 50 bikes there alltogether but if only one person found our Lord then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !!!! Please pray for a larger attendence next year.
MMMMM.......perhaps it will someday be one o' these youngsters ?!?!?!?
Future biker minstry evangelists ???? Pray it's so.

Here's a pretty cool scoot that belongs to a freind o' ours. It was a pretty popular attraction there, honestly though, not very much fun to ride at 50 degrees or for long trecks. As you can see, the young fella that rode it for him was till pickin the bugs and grit from his eyes and teeth.

Let us never forget. There is allways SOMETHING that we do,biker, tectorist, golfer, shopper, bricklayer, SOMETHING that brings us into contact with those that are looking and may not even know it lest we stand up and speak out, testify to what our LORD can and will do for us.Don't allways be lookin for those that are "like" we are, be open for any and all devine intervention that Jesus or the Holy Spirit may put in your path. If you cross someone that may merely have an interest in what you do, WELCOME them in, lose the focus of,they aint a "member".Reach out, bring them in, make them a "MEMBER".EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM ARE YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST.
Never forget...........................

Jim - that sure looks like a rewarding time for all ! You are right on about reaching out - I do that always at the Mission I work at. There are kazillions of guys & gals waiting to hear the Good News, Steve in so az

AND every time I start out one one of these 'missions' with the prayer in my heart to be a blessing to someone, I am the one who comes away blessed!

Wife is very sick and i am having a hard time today dealing with my emotions .I can see Gods love in all the pictures and your post brought me closer to him . We all should use your group as any example of what Gods love is all about.May God continue to Bless you as you minister to others.Harold n.S.

there used to be a "Blessing" at the La Salette shrine near me each year. Last I knew, it was bringing in over 300 bikes. A great way to share our Lord and faith!

Dave
