Well, headed out alone today near the home I had hunted this weekend and got permission to hunt another house I had eyeballed previously.
The finds where ok but, nothing great. I did get a kick out of finding two pocket watches though. I ended up giving those to the homeowner as she acted like she might like to have them.
Below are the finds from this home which i will return too some other time.

She was very appreciative and said come back anytime. I might but, I really wanted to get on to a place I have hunted for many years. It produces everything and I call it the 100 acre forest (its waaay more then that).
It has everything a detectorist could want and more.
Well I hit a small area I like that I have pulled many things from this area in the past.
The very first dig was a deep Indian hit and boy I worked hard for this one. I dug about 9" and hit a large root.
Well, as usual it was right under it. After a lil effort I was awarded a 87 Injun. I was excited when I first gave it a look as I saw the 7. I was like ok give me another 7 and I will call it a day.
It was a 87 but, I will take it.
Below is the coin as I got it out from under the root.

My next decent coin was a high nickel hit that bounced around. I am not sure but, I think it could have been on edge.
Happily this one was no work to get out of the hole and turned out to be a 67 (no ray) Shield.
Below is as she came out of the ground.

The next photo is looking up high into the beautiful sky today under my lil area I like to wander.

Next are my finds from the woods the Injun, Shield, 2 flatties, a flattie with a design of some kind on the front, 10 older wheats, and some junk.

Then the Shield and the Indian before the bathing.

Well, it was a nice day and I loved the weather. I will be heading out tomorrow with my hunting partner so, I hope we get some more goodies tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great week and thanks for looking at the post.
