What a beautiful day in the neighborhood it was today! My bro & I went....

to the Jr High School this afternoon and he tried using my detector for a while...the XLT...and then I did the swinging and he did the digging. I was telling him I sure hoped his back didn't give him any trouble (not being used to kneeling and digging) or both of us would be down in our back muscles! :cry: After about 2-1/2 hours detecting in all we found 20 coins totaling $2.02 and one Hot Wheels car...really nice one in the grass....or a dinky as Leslie calls them! :D The grounds had really been hunted so not much to find but still a lot of it we couldn't cover...so maybe more the next time! But anyway a nice, sunny and warm day for being outside. We both enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air! My back muscle under the left shoulder blade is still very sore, with the right one better...so hopefully I'm healing and I praise God for all His blessings! :angel:

Also aired out some of the house which made it better inside too! That's it for detecting...not much found...but a pleasant outing anyway!

a good day out . Why dont you both try an elementary school play sand area ? Much easier digging and I find more there. Steve in so az
 
Sure wish I could get my sons to do some detecting or geocaching with me. nice to see that the two of you had a nice day together.

Sounds like God let you both have a great time together and you still found things others missed. Congrats Betty.
We washed the windows here about a week ago. Was amazed at how much of the beauty of things God created that we could not see before when looking through this windows. Almost like we can reach out and touch things now.
 
endured Sunday's hunt better than me and even tried raking leaves (even without any trees I still have them) but gave up after they kept blowing around too much. He would clean an area and then there would be more than before! :D My brother is much stronger than I am and I praise God for the help he gives me!! God is goooood!! Been eating better since I'm cooking for two now instead of just one! :blink: I dirty the dishes and pans and he washes them. :jump: :D

someone to talk to and cook for and Everett has given me something to look forward to each new dawning. So far, we haven't had any arguments and hopefully we won't. We both are much easier to live with and be around since we accepted Jesus as our Savior! He doesn't live as much for Him as I do...but each grows in their own time and in their own way as they seek Jesus and find Him in God's Holy Word!
