We've been having the worst weather for hunting!:ranting:

Not enough snow to get people out on the hills, and just enough to make it impossible to dig.
It warms up to the mid 30's in the day, and drops into the teens at night, so even the totlots are unhuntable...been doing this for a month. Its perfect for maple syrup harvesting.
That and gas is nearing 4 bucks...anyway... havnt posted in a while because I havn't hunted in a while...but in the effort to not get this post booted, I will say,
Disc 1, Sens 55, Thresh -3, DE mode, DP tones, F70 w/11"dd coil!
Wheres Zeek?

Gas prices cramping my style already. When is this phony 'oil shortage' B.S. going to end. Its been going on since the early 1970's. I think the whole world knows its a scam by now. Yet it continues unabated. I think 'sheep' fits here.

Hey Terra, those propane conversion kits are flying off the shelves, just like in the 70's...Blade, I've got Jerrys number around here somewhere, I'll try to give him a call and check up on him. Landstar, you've had a good year last season, so I know you can put another one together this year!

I hear ya mud,been struggling myself.I did manage to get out before this last storm and found some wheats,one was a 1910,so think I'm in the right area except now the ground is hard as a rock again.Been using the 5 inch coil,sens.80.disc.4-6.3h tones.Bp proc.

Mn opener is probably the 12th, but haven't checked for sure. Will go up around June 1st when I am sure the ice will be off. Yep, I know you northern boys will give me a run and am looking forward to seeing some of that yankee silver. Heck, any silver would be good right now. HH jim tn

Yeah, its been a mild winter, here in the South, but for relic hunting that's not good as the foliage hasn't died back the way it usually does and we're going to have to worry about ticks and snakes that much sooner.

just got rid of my "pig" and now drivin' somethin' that gives me some "range"
without floating a second mortgage on the house! it don't look like it's gonna
stabilize any time soon,and could reach $5.00 a gallon by summer!
