Wetsuit question.....

BuckeyeBrad

New member
Is anyone using a 5 mil or a 7/5 mil wetsuit for colder water and if so, what water temps are you still comfortable? I use Henderson Ti Superstretch 3 mil for medium temps and want to get wet earlier without resorting to waders or dry suits. TIA for any help.

I have used my 7 mil two piece suit in water with ice 2" thick and was able to hunt for several hours without too much discomfort. The feet and hands are the first thing to start giving problems. Good boots and gloves are a must.
Here three of us break the ice and hunt. This was Michigan on Feb 21st.

Appreciate the info. Think I'll go ahead and try a 7/5.

farmer john...this gives me the option to wear just the bottom if its not too cold..read less weights,,same would be true for water hunting,,,if the sun is out...you wont burn up in the neopreme top,,,,cs
