I am planning on going out for the first time tomorrow. It is been wet here all day. What if any problems does this propose? I have been reading the forums and they have mentioned falses if it's too wet. Is that in grass? In pine bark mulch? Dirt? I have a BH Sharp Shooter II, any suggestions? Or bag it and wait for dryer weather? Thanks, Willie
Hey Dyna Willie, you've answered your own question. Go for it.
Not familiar with the BH Sharpshooter II, but my Garretts have hunted in all kinds of weather, ice and rain and snow and without a hitch. I'd take wet ground any day over parched dry ground. If you're getting falsing, try knocking the sensitivity down a notch or two.
The only thing about wet, wet ground, is your hands might get kinda muddy, and for this, you might want to hang an old towel in your belt to wipe them off occassionally.
Go on and enjoy yourself, the sun can't shine everyday. Good luck, let us know how you do.
