Doe's anyone know if the Explorer xs works better with wet/damp soil as to dry?
any advice would be great.

Not wet, but damp soil really seems to bring out the silver tones clear and deep.

hello the wetter the better. now thats it dry in michigan . i,am losing the target after i dig the 1st plug. the halo is being lost a lot more than when,s its wet out. keep digging !

Thanks very much lads for the reply as I live in Scotland it should't be dry very long.
Cheers!!

Usually you get better depth in wet, but I and others have noticed in iron infested areas, you can sometimes pick off a few more good targets in the extreme dry soil.. I think the deep iron doesnt over power the shallower good targets as much
