wet and dry soil depth

Not having had the explorer in summer. What can I expect for the loss of depth to be in dry soil? 1/2 or 1/3? Does the soil ever get too wet? Just wandering, we have had 8+ inches of rain in 2 weeks! So it will not be problem for awhile. Thanks Gary

Hey Gary, that was one of the great suprises with the explorer over the Sov, I didnt see any depth loss in dryer ground like I did with the Sov, of course you can only tell by things you hear, and if you dont hear it you'ed never know <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> I was still getting 10 inch plus coins in the dryest conditions we had last year... although we never did get to the point the ground got hard as a rock like we do some years...

Thanks Jim,thats good to know. I thought it would drop the dryer it gets. HH Gary
