West Michigan water hunters

As much as it kills me to leave a spot where there is a known missing ring, I had to tonight. A fella approached me on the beach about an hour before dark and told me the area he had lost his platinum wedding ring while playing football in the water with his boy. Being that I had my whole family waiting for me, I wasnt able to spend much time looking. If interested please pm me for details. I can give you the location and the owner's number. The owner seemed genuine and I'm certain there would be compensation. This is on the big lake at a common beach. The water temp. is in the mid/upper 60s and was pretty comfortable. No water hunters out today, so I'm sure the ring is there! I have plans tomorrow and wanted to give some local forum members a crack at it!

Good huntin'

Travis

I'm yer Huckleberry if its between Ludington and Saugatuck...I'm sure the guy has already called the 'Ringfinders'? Maybe not, but if its in the Big Lake, it will have to be found pretty quickly before it gets buried forever, sounds like he was playing out on top of a sandbar, which generally turn over often...I'll PM you just in case I might be able to help.

Dude! Good to talk to you today about this unfortunate opportunity...Monstrous surf, red flagged all day...sand on the move, gonna be a tough one...still, what a cool deal if we can make a team effort out of it!..bummer is I swept the heck out of that place the very morning after it was lost, just not where he lost it..i had my hands full scooping up pennies and pulltabs on the dry!....I'll hit your coordinates tonight or tomorrow am..might make for a good story to post..if I hit it, I will get back with you..
Mud.

Just talked to Mud this AM. Was out on the dry for a few hours this morning.
Will be hunting all week and will try to help locate this ring. Although I'm sure Mud will zero in on it pretty quick.

Thanks for the heads up. Hoping we can return this ring!

Trav...Me and Sandtick will give it a go as soon as this surf falls off a bit... Super rough this am, heavy longshore rip, almost impossible to swing coil, and even tougher to scoop target...but, we will do our best!

Very cool guys, it would be sweet to see one of you pull some platinum out of the pond!
