Wess came down two weeks ago....

and we were hoping to do some old house sites. problem is there has been so much rain that very few farmers have been able to get their crops off the fields. After hitting a couple of mudholes we ended up at my Rev war period spot in the city. Wess got a really nice 1812 British artillery button but most of the stuff was pretty mundane.

The 1902 big penny and glass rosette came from the fields and the flat buttons jewelled button and little buckle from the last spot.
