We're running out of gas.

Our usual store was out of unleaded so we had to get premium gas instead. I had to fill up my truck to be sure I can get to my carpet cleaning jobs and passed two stores that were out of gas before I found one with some available. They said they didn't know when they would get more. I am not complaning though, my house is dry and we have running water and food.

I'm praying for all the victims of Katrina, but feel that is not enough. Like Mike, I'm going to contribute some water and food, I can't afford much but every little bit helps.

God bless all those heroes, the police and sherrif dpts, the Coast Guard and armed forces, the Red Cross and all other agencies who are pitching in to help.

President Bush is releasing some of our oil reserves to help in the shortage! These were kept back for an emergency and this is a great emergency for those caught in Katrina and don't have the gas to even leave the terrible situation they're in! Thank God for Houston taking a lot of them by buses to help these poor people who have trials we cannot even imagine unless we were there to see it, smell it and endure it! May God have mercy and provide their needs with the help from all of us!
