We're having an early and nasty winter and the weather here sucks to high heaven. Been raining

forever with a little dusting of snow mixed in. Temps are in the low teens at night and colder than a well digger's butt in the Klondike. Need to finish field testing the 350 but Mother Nature is dead set against me. I hate to see this crap coming. My old bones don't handle the severe cold anymore and it is COOOOOOLD!!!

Bill

Here in Michigan it was a high of 30, 20+ MPH winds and a bit of snow now and then. I'm not handling this stuff any better than you. Like the old Jimmy Buffet song says - "I wanna go where it's warm!".

Best regards,
Steve

Where both in Oregon, me south, he north....nasty there to eh?

Alan

Hi Allan,
Yes! 6 inches of snow in the low 20's day low teens at night. Not the usual for the rainy side of the Cascade range. I can take it though, I was raised in Wisconsin! I just shuts down the THing.

Best Regards,
Steve

Dang sounds like your weather is a mirror image of here. I just looked out at my thermometer on the front porch and it's about 16 degrees out there. Don't even want to go out in that crap. HA. Supposed to improve some in the next few days. Hope your end warms up a bit.

I hunted with Monte down there once. Had a great time!

Uncle willy think of it like this, when it gets nice and coooolllllllllllllled up there all them Depositer come down to Fla. and we like that.Ron Lord.

I think the season is over here in NE Wisconsin too. I haven't been out for a week and already I'm going nuts. Rained for nearly a week and now it's down in the 20's which means that the ground is already like cement. Well, I plan to spend some time in the library this winter with their newspaper files. Problem is that they are on the old microfilm and about an hour at a time will burn your eyes out!

It is definitely over in NW Wisconsin. We did manage to get out twice last week and had pretty good luck in spite of a three inch blanket of snow. High yesterday was 24 F, which is pretty much what we can expect from now on.

The season was way too short for me. mainly because I spent a lot of it recovering from surgery. Looking forward to next year and the At Pro.

Happy Thanksgiving to all

three schools playgrounds. One is a covered playground so it was free of snow and frozen rain water. The other two had a had a good helping of larger, chunky, loose wood-chips and was fairly easy to toe-scuff for recoveries. The problem with them all, however, is that it's been super wet here recently and they haven't been used a lot. :(

This morning, at about 7:40ish, I hit a school and park, but it was 16
