some river fishermen clip or tie a bell onto the end of their rods - especially when night fishing - so they can hear they have a bite.
Might be one of those.
Congrats on the finds Steve - ya done good. Cycles are fun and if ya got a wife that says 'buy it' ya don't ask twice hahahaha.
Check insurance rates before putting the cash down on a bike - some seem outrageously priced for insurance.

I once was going to by the low end Harley 883 stock bike. Called the insurance company and was told it would be over $500 for insurance but...if I added fairings, saddle bags, and other accessories the price would come down. I scratched my head and said I don't understand. He said a 'stock' motorcycle is usually what gets in an accident first because 'kids' want to race them. But the ones decked out for touring we know ya can't race them so the insurance is cheaper.

I said I am still confused if a fully dressed bike gets into an accident doesn;t it cost more to replace all the things like the fairing, saddle bags, etc. than a stock bike? He said "Yeah." and left it at that. I'm still confused. I said look at how old I am. Do you think I am a 'kid' who is going to race his $18,000 (back then) bike for fun? If anything I'll be the cautious guy touring and watching out for the left turn cagers (cars that turn left into your bike cuz they 'didn't see you').

Oh well long story - check insuranc rates. What is a new bike if ya can't afford the insurance to get the plates so ya can ride it.
Ya can never get from 0 to 60 parked in a driveway. :)
