Conditions were right, except for a rising tide, looked just like the pics from Virginia Beach. Windy with 2 to 4 ft waves, winds from the SE. Nice cut on the beaches, nearly 4ft high in some places. Got "Pepe LePew'd" anyway. I hunted for nearly 6 1/2 hours and pulled a dime and a quarter. If ya'll have never had the experience of hunting the Treasure Coast, it's kind of barren except for residential houses, some right on the beach. The coins were a surprise but I wasn't looking for them anyway. Oh well, at those beaches it's always "all or nothing". Today was nothing. I'll probably hit Clearwater or St. Pete tomorrow and see if the hurricane is far enough west to cause some beach erosion. I expect not with a SE wind. HH everyone and let's see how it goes tomorrow.

That's a bummer, man. Better luck at your next stops. Sometimes it goes like that. I'm on my way down to West Palm here in the middle of September. Will be doing some hunting at South beach and probably Hollywood, maybe a couple other spots.

Have fun and good luck!
