Didn't find any gold but I did find a few quarters, dimes, nickels and plenty of pennies. A fake big hoop earring, and what I call a clad ring. Oh yeah and just as many pull tabs and some bottle caps. But the most important thing is I HAD A BLAST! The weather here in northwest Florida is great for November and the water is still tolerable. If I ever find some gold, I'll post some pics.
 
i will be headed your way Xmas to do a whole week of MD'ing.my brother inlaw and i are going to be at Panama City Beach 6 whole days.just eat and TH!
 
You aught to enjoy that! The beaches aren't that bad but it is getting colder right now. I might have to buy a wet suit to hunt during the winter months. It wasn't too bad yesterday, I tried a new beach to see if I would have better luck. Still no rings but no half cans either! Did you ever get a water machine?
 
no,i just waterproofed my CZ5 and it works fine.i got 2 CZ5's 1 set up for water and 1 for land.iv got a full wet suit and a shorty also,think i will bring my chest waders id think by Xmas it will be way too cold to get in water!
