went to the beach last night and found LOVE....

Hit another down town Chicago Beach last night from 10:30 to 1. got the usual about 50 or so coins then I got a can signal and out pops this beauty!
BLING!!!!
18K white gold with 27 diamonds. I'm at the firehouse today so in the morning i'll get the weight.

15 minutes later I got this ring.

14K white gold about a .20 ct stone with 2 smaller Sapphires.

I've also got the can signals in the 70's. For me a 74 is many times a can (or big can chunk) or Chucky Cheese token. 75's are as likely a can chunk as not. Everyone of these was a 74
 
I think I'm detecting in the wrong part of the state anyway. I have not found one ring or piece of jewelry yet, but I'm not giving up. I have found a few old pennies and dimes in the basement of a building that was a bar in the past. Just a dirt floor.
