went to public park today got kick out by park ranger

well had a bad day went to do some hunting with md was told to leave by park ranger, but i told him i called the parks dept,and they said i can md in all public parks but he did not listen to me kept yelling get out you dont live in this area. i live 2 min away.:angry: going to call about this person. got his name. will report him. have any of you ran into this kind. well not going to detour me from having a hobby i like and respect. well ill let you all know what happens when i make some phone calls.

people like that are not happy unless they are bust-in some one biskets,.....yes some people should not have a badge and a lot of times authorities is taken far to advantage of just because they do wear one ...it be different if you were causing damage that be different story but just to pop a few coins and leave no marks, it ridiculous how they think your going to do damage. the squirrels dig bigger and deeper holes and they don't even fill them in after they dig!!!

You may want to check the local bi-laws yourself. Possibly keep a copy of them in your back pocket and return.

Most park rangers are nice. I was told very nicely just last week that it was against park regulations and he could not let me detect while he was there. He then proceeeded to tell me that he only works weekends and that I should return during the week when there is no ranger on duty. He even pointed out where the old buildings were and what the other good spots where people hang out are!!!
